House of Pain, Rolling Stones, and DJ CHiEF collide for the 2013 rebirth of House of Pain’s Hip-Hop classic “Jump Around”, with samples from “Miss You”, the Disco standard by Rolling Stones.
Given that Disco is a foundation of House music, it’s appropriate that the Stones’ “Miss You” would fit so well over an EDM beat. And of course, House of Pain’s vocals over “Jump Around” are basically built into the DNA of American so that even if you’ve never heard it, you can somehow sing along.
